3 Signs stress is effecting your pores

How are your pores? Stress, unusual schedules, and disrupted sleep have left several of our clients skin suffering. It’s the stress inside our bodies that have started showing up on the outside.

While we can’t end the all the problems nor make all of the stress go away, we can share some tips to help you maintain healthy skin during these times.

3 Signs stress is effecting your pores

1. Dry dehydrated skin- dryness and tightness are all signs your skin isn’t getting enough moisture. Our pores can’t function properly when our skin is not adequately hydrated.

Quick fix: add a hydrator before your moisturizer or switch to a more hydrating cleanser. Or slug!

2. Blackheads emerging- your pores are getting excess oil and debris if you can see blackheads on your face. While pore size is genetic and you can’t reduce the size, you can reduce the appearance of their size by keeping them clean.

Quick fix: get back on track with your routine, don’t sleep in makeup, gently exfoliate 2 times a week. Stay consistent with facials.

3. Jawbone Acne- heightened stress and friction from the masks (if you're still wearing them) cause acne in this area, also resting your face on your hands.

Quick fix: reduce stress with a walk or meditation, add in our sulfur spot treatment for problem areas.
